The Usefulness of Dining Table Pads.

With a new dining table comes the instant worry of damaging it large open flat surface. Whether your table is in vicinity of a high traffic area or not its top can come under the damaging influences of many sources and ideal need protecting with a dining table pad. To get an understand of this need lets consider the possible threats of damage.

  • There will be the often unconsidered bleaching of the finish from direct sunlight.
  • Chemical damage from regular cleaning.

These are made to the measurements of your table and at costs of $150 and skywards they are aimed at high end and custom made dining tables or antique units. With velvet underside they come in sheet form generally 4 to an average size dining table and have to be stored in their provided boxes or laid flat to protect their selves from warping.

Any of the above mentioned will be a better job than nothing protecting your table top when used correctly. But a half decent table protected well will last a long time and a good quality or high end table could last a few generations at least.
