At the low end, there is the option to obtain plans and build a simple design on your own. There are also very economical, units available for sale which are already to install. The most economical units are made of thick guage wire and are usually coated with a durable white enamel. Next on the scale would be wood units made with some sort of laminate wood or wood by product. (plywood, particle board, etc..) Last but not least by any means are solid wood, custom made units. You can expect prices to range from under $100 to over $1000.
Step 2 - Measure your space
The dimmensions of your space will largely determine which options are available for your project. The more space you have both vertically and horizontally, the more choices you will have. Most closet organizer systems have components made with standard dimmentions. This makes it easy to deternine what will fit in your space.
